It all started with 4 of my friends waking early in the morning and catching number of public transportation bus to reach san fransisco. One thing I love about san jose is very good public transportation. And the best thing about sjsu is it provides pass to this public transportation at very nominal cost. I pay around 20 dollars for 6 months and can catch any of buses run by vta for free. This is really great. I take full advantage of this service. We went first to mission and market street. The guys who came to sf for the first time loved to take pics of tall sky scrapers. I had been there before so did not surprised me much. We went to see bay bridge. There is a statue of Ghandhiji near bay. We went to fisherman's wharf walking near the bay. There is trail there from downtown to fisherman's wharf and may be beyond so lot of guys come there for jogging. It was fun walking there and enjoying the new spots. I liked pier 39 very much. Its very beautiful. Lot of shops and sea creatures. From there we went to crooked street walking. It was bit tough. Its on height so converts our walking into climbing. Fun was that too! The flowers were not as beautiful as I had expected. May be because it was winter. I had seen pics earlier of this place. Then we walked down the road to catch the bus. It was first time we bought ticket of bus. That ticket was 'transfer' one so could use on any bus in sf. We went to Golden Gate. Its hugeness is great. I loved its height. We decided to go at the other end of the bridge walking. As we gradually approached the other end we could see the entire sf. Then we decided to go back. Again we catched more than couple of buses to return to san jose. We decided to have dinner in restaurant. We had that extra money becouse trip to sf cost us only 1.50 dollar. This was unbelievable. The other extra ordinary thing was we walked more than 10 miles that day.
