Yahoo down!

I got this message when I tried to access yahoo mail. Before this I read in the news that some of yahoo mail accounts of Chinese journalist were hacked. (I swear I am not Chinese nor journalist!!!). My yahoo messenger is working fine. Also I tried to search if yahoo network was down or not both on google and yahoo. No results found. Hope it comes up by the time I finish writing this blog.

Hate Ads!!!

I am annoyed by the advertisements that come up while surfing net. The most annoying is the one that shows in my gmail account. It feels to me that someone is reading my email.(though it is a machine!!!)I have already found out a way to bypass these annoying stuffs. I have been long using the extension in chrome and firefox named ABP. Sometimes it is not successful in removing flash ads. However overall it does the job of blocking very well. Thanks ABP!!!

Things I have learned from US

I agree partially to things listed below and also there are always special cases. (Ignore those):-

• Its okay to say "NO".
• Do what you like.
• Maintenance is as important as development and requires lot of money. Don't create things which can't be maintained.

Firefox v/s Chrome

It has been long time since I have written. :-( I am in constant dilemma to say which browser I like the most. Firefox or Chrome. One thing is for sure both are far better than any other browser. Firefox has best add ons. Its themes - persona is best in class. Awesome bar is really helpful. However UI of chrome is much cleaner and more appealing to me. Compare screenshots. In Chrome Tab comes above address bar. I personally like it and feel better to use it than Firefox. I will use both of them and try to judge which one is better till one of them dies!!!
